What would be a hero for children, and adults?

Everyone one has a different idea of what hero means, for children, a hero may be......??????? adults........??????????

Kids often look up to people who are bigger than life and can seemingly do anything.  Adults should be able to discriminate between someone who has done something truly heroic and someone who is a star.  The term "hero" gets so misused.  People tend to use it for sports stars which I think is a personal affront to people who really are heros.

it could be a family, God, a person who could've saved their life. or a person who made a change in the world/their life

It more of an opinion sort of thing and it can never be answered simply. Though a hero is someone of a role model. A lot of times having a strong self-confidence or something else that some people wished that they had. A leader sort of speak is another fine example. Someone strong enough to pave a specialized path for others to walk through. They gave guts to do almost anything that they can put their mind to, even if a lot of people consider it illogical and impossible.

Any father figure,,ie dad,grandpa,even some uncles who are really generous,or heroic....also soldiers make great heroes,in real life,on tv,in movies and in comics
