What would be a loud bomb?

i usually make a piccolo pete and stick it in a 2 liter bottle and that is usually pretty loud. but its getting kind of boring so i am looking for something else to blow up. i was thinking about freezing a piccolo pete bomb in a water bottle with the fuse sticking out , maybe the reaction would be contained just long enough and result in a huge bang. and i have already tried the sparkler bomb and the dry ice bomb so any other ideas would be appreciated. IM NOT looking to hear how im going to blow myself up! thanks!

Freeze the bottle, without water in it, you might get a louder bang. That would be, because the frozen plastic would take longer to break down from the fire cracker's explosion force. Filling the bottle with water is going to get you a soggy fuse, and to much resistance for anything to happen, provided of course that the fuse would even burn. A large diameter pipe, closed at one end, will also amplify the sound of the fire cracker.
