What would be a nice christmas present?

This is for my friend Dakotah, he's 16 and he's married, he also has 3 kids, the twins (one girl and one boy) are 2, and he has another one whos 3 months. they dont have a lot of money, just enough to get by, he works 3 jobs and she works 2 but that goes to rent, food and baby stuff. i know that christmas is a little far away, but last night someone said to the kids "so what do you want for christmas" cause they were looking at the sears christmas wish book, and the twins were saying all this stuff, and dakotah was like "yeah.." cause they cant afford a lot, and her parents want nothing to do with them and he has foster parents, last christmas they only got 2 outfits each and a story book to share and a stuffed animal each, and even then i helped them, so i pretty much bought the clothes, their both in school too so they need school supplies and stuff. my question is what would be a good christmas present like one really nice one instead of a bunch of stuff? ps.please dont make any comments about they should have used condoms and stuff. thanks.

Honestly, I think a bunch of little stuff would be a lot more fun. I think thats a much better idea than one big boring item. Kids love bags of little toys and everything. It's exciting to see what else is going to come out. I don't know how much money you wanted to spend,  but I think a couple outfits, a few little toys, and some school supplies would be perfect.

If they need school stuff maybe you could get them backpacks with new markers and such stuffed inside them.

If you were thinking more near christmas time you could maybe get some of the things that they looked at in the magazine.

You could also get things that they could do together like board games.

My last idea is that if you are in a location where it snows get them a sled that they could use
