I am such an alto =]. My upper register is really quiet, but as soon as I get those low notes I belt it out and I do great! I'm auditioning for My Favorite Year at my high school. My director has asked us not to pick a really popular musical like Wicked, Phantom of the Opera or High School Musical. Can you help me? Thanks!

  3. I'm not sure, but with "When You're Good to Mama" It's not really age-appropriate to sing - but maybe you could change some words haha in High School she probably won't care/notice.

  4. Try one of these:

    Little Lamb from Gypsy

Worst Pies in London from Sweeney Todd

When You're Good to Mama from Chicago

A Little Brains, A Little Talent from d**n Yankees

There's a Fine, Fine Line from Avenue Q

My New Philosophy from You're  A Good Man, Charlie Brown

    Stepsisters' Lament from R&H's Cinderella

What I Did For Love from A Chorus Line

    Hope that helps a little!
