What would be a sure fire item in a small toy store?

I have a small children's haircut and toy store on the outskirts of a major city where all of the discount places are not far away. Target, Toys r us, etc.

Haircuts do great, although I could use another haircutter and can't seem to find anyone who wants to do kids.

I MUST supplement my income with toys, but haven't found the one (or more) GREAT item, that will keep people coming back for more.

We have most things under 10 bucks, and everything sells...SLOWLY. But mostly when kids come in for their haircuts.

I need something that will bring them in at all times.

Anyone have any ideas?

Puzzles are fun. Building blocks and the Etch a Sketch is a good selling item also.
