  1. Not sure I understand your question...are you looking to make boards to sell to a snowboard company or are you looking to sell custom snowboards to customers?

Also is $300 the price it costs you to make the board or is it how much you want to sell the boards for.

Neither are easily done at the price point you are talking about (for a quality board). The easiest way is to find a way to get a lot of blank boards (both top and bottom) and then find a way to digitally print graphics onto the top (and maybe the bottom of the board).

I am not sure there are feasible ways to accomplish either at this point in time but you can be the first to figure it out.

The point is to try and leverage scale (buy a lot of blank boards from a single manufacturer cheap) as much as possible. By definition customized products provide less scale but digital printing will at least eliminate the costs and lead times with making new print plates for every new custom graphic.

Another question is, why $300? It seems like a relatively low price point given that most medium-high end boards are well above that price point.  Customization is generally considered a "luxury" value add and so you should expect to charge a premium for it.  Otherwise you are effectively giving your hard work away for free relative to the market.

Another cool business idea would be to take a board from any company and offer to redo the graphics on it. But I imagine that would be quite difficult.

    Good luck.
