The last answer in this Yahoo! Answers gives me another question to ask.

"Three, and I believe the most important; When an attorney asks if any juror has a problem in judging their case, raise your hand. Give a weak excuse as to why you can't sit on the case."

What would be some "weak excuses"? Ideas please? I've got jury duty next month and I want to be on a case. :D

  1. your question doesn't make sense

give excuses to why you CAN'T and then you say you want to be picked?

  2. You freak, you WANT to be on a jury?

Ok then, I guess that's cool.  You'll learn something.

Well, don't act like you want to be there.  Act like you don't care either way.

    Weak excuses

    -I'm too open-minded

-I don't know much about the law

-I don't know much about the subject

  3. If you want to be on a case, don't respond to that question, because your response could get you excused, or if sufficiently frivolous, held in contempt.

Weak excuse--can't judge a criminal case because a cop once gave you a parking ticket, so you don't trust cops.

--can't judge a civil suit because it involves a (retail store/doctor/taxi, etc) and you have a cousin who works in that field.
