What would be an average score on a 9-hole golf course?

i know, i know it depends on how long the 9-holes are or the course, but an average number would b good. thanks!

an average score would between 42-47 depending on the course of course.

average on most golf courses is par 4 (equal amount of 3 and 5) for a 72 stroke round for 18 holes.  of course, half that would be 36, but a 9 hole course typically favors shorter holes so maybe 32/33 would be a better average.

but then, par really isn't 'average'.

I'd say around 36.  But it does depend on what's par on each hole.

usually a 9 hole course is a par 36. most people would shoot in the low 40's to high 50's. the record 4 9 holes in a major is 28 thought.

I think if everyone played by the rules, the average score on 9 holes would be around 48.

Well, it depends on the Course AND -who's playing it ! Joe Sixpack on a Easy Course- might be lucky if He pulls a 5 over Par 35... Tiger Woods on a Tough Course- might grouse if He gets a 2 under Par 30... So it ALL Depends... :)

9 hole courses tend to be smaller so the you would not have any par 5's and all par 3's and 4's.  I'm going to say 32.
