  1. Advantages of a treadmill are you can run in all weathers.

I have mine in front of tv and an hours run isn't so boring when watching a programme.

Motorised have settings so that you can run "uphill" to get more stamina.

If you go for motorised make sure It is long enough for your maximum stride. Also make sure it has a speed of 10mph otherwise you will just be walking fast

  2. The outdoors is the best for a terrain feel underfoot - the treadmill can be used in any weather day or night.

You are commited - some people buy a treadmill with the best intentions and then don't use it as much as they promised themselves.

I think there should be a combined fitness and ecology awareness project where a treadmill, or any other cv equipment can be used with increasing efficiency to generate electricity - at least a phone battery charger's worth, but potentially capable of more - it's all just gears to me;  If you can get up to 'top gear' speed, you are generating electricity with a gear much smaller than the one you turn, so it goes faster - same as the treadmill has varying levels of difficulty - then you could run for 'free energy', get a sponsorship and do some charity work so all the extra running you do is well accounted for - that will help launch a professional career, keep your name in the press and give manufacturers the incentive to develop their products...

Imagine those pro-jump stilts with an energy conversion fitted - for every step, between 1 & 20 revs & for every mile, a battery fully charged, per leg.

  3. well, running sevreal night would be best.

but, if you have the money i would definitly suggest a motorside treadmill because manuel 1's hurt your feet, but they are very expensive.

Howver, i go to my local gym and its only 3 pound all day and they have lots of motor treadmills.

So, its up to you really.

Congrats on all the acomplishments and everythings.

  4. Well done on your achievements so far before you go down the road of a treadmill what are your coaches saying so the first thing is to use it as part of your training programme with your coaches involvement if all things fall into place have a look a the Carl Lewis one do a search carl lewis treadmill
