  1. Track and field. As a football player, you'd find yourself as a sprinter. Training as a sprinter will help you build explosive power for your legs. Plus plenty of proffessional sprinters have gotten their start as football players.

  2. go running in the summer.

you cant really do cross country cuz its the same season.

track is good and would help out.

do sprints to build leg muscle or go on distance runs.

  3. Track for sure. Cross country would wear out your muscle mass. You should probably do the 100/200m. Maybe even 110 hurdles if you're willing to put in some extra time.

  4. Track/Field. Do the sprinting events like the 100m, 200m, 400m...etc. Your coach will probably give practices working on speed such as intervals so you will get better. Cross Country is just running long distances with hills. Sprinting involves fast twich muscles and it wont help too much if you do Cross Country since running long distances are for slow twitch muscles.

  5. Well track & field would probably develop more leg muscle if thats what you want ,but if you want endurance to stay on the field for longer or whatever go with cross country.

  6. Since wr/rb is a sprinting position you would probably want to do track and field. Not shotput or something like that, but sprinting like 100, 200, or 400. Hurdles would probably be really good too so that after you juke someone and they fall over, you can hurdle them.

  7. To develop your endurance, muscle, speed track and field is enjoyable one. Happy  running..... and good luck.

  8. Track and field would help with your speed, but you might also want to do cross country since it will help with your endurance = speed.
