What would be better overall? Touchsmart or the tablet pc?

Which one should i choose. I know the tablet is a laptop but which one would still be a better computer?

the touchsmart may actually out-perform the tablet, even though the tablet is going to be much more portable then the touchsmart.

tablet is more of a college - homework - project pc

touchsmart is more for fun even though i think it's more expensive. makes sense though.

the tablet i believe is designed for simple use not for games or high-performance usage.
