My other subjects I'm taking are chemistry, Biology, ICT. My head of sixth form has recently changed his mind and said I should only take 4 A-levels and I was wondering which subject (Physics or Maths Statistics) would be better for my choice of career: Vet

  1. That's a tough one, you might want to see if your college / sixth form offer a course like Animal Care or maybe P.E because P.E will give you a better understanding of the muscles etc.

IF you're set on either Physics or Maths Statistics just choose the one you prefer because neither of them really relate to being a vet.

    Hope This Helps :)

  2. I would say physics, as it's another science subject. Good luck with trying to do four A levels at once, most people only just do three. I hope you're ready to give up your social life XD

  3. You know what you should do?

Go onto university websites and request a prospectus.

Then look up the vet section and see what subjects they require you to have.

It sounds like a lot of work, but there's no point choosing the wrong subject then not getting into the uni you really want to go to.

  4. neither are particularly relevant - biology and chemistry are the important ones - maths also helps but stats is not really.

just choose the one you enjoy most or choose a completely different subject all together

good luck with what ever you decide to do!
