Italy for sure but avoid in cities like Venice,Rome,Firenze etc. the typical tourist Restaurants/Cafés since it's a rip off!

Having been to both countries, and living in Italy for four months, Italy is cheaper. Switzerland is very expensive: you will find yourself buying bread and cheese to eat for dinner and lunch because living costs a lot!

In Italy, you can find a good piece of pizza for a euro and gelato (ice cream) is super cheap!
