What would be faster down hill a ripstik or a long board?

i was thinking about getting a long board so i could go fast down hills. But i already have a ripstik but i don't know which one would be faster plz explain why if u can.

long board ripsticks relly suck there only good if u surf...id do longboard i dont longboard i skate but longboarding is fun...get some very good bearings.....go to a modern skate shop or somtin....get a sector 9 there the best....but if ur looking for faster..most def..the longboard but dont over do it with the long board...like dont get a realy long one
