On April 30, without a post position draw, I want a nice payout for a $4 ticket.....I like runners that will be close to the pace, but not having to take the lead. Cowtown Cat and Circular Quay can rate near the front, will possibly have real nice odds - 7-1 or higher - and are improving. On Derby Day, if you have a few bucks and want to play something more than a win ticket, an exacta box is a great way to have an opportunity to make some very good dollars.

Bet on the experience riders. Horse is secondary. 90% of my bets are based on which jockey is riding that horse.
