What would be good to buy to take on a cruise?

So I'm going on a cruise on September 29th for 5 days, never been on a cruise before but was going to buy some new outfits to take with me. For a 5 day cruise to Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios, what would be good?

I'm going with Carnival and on the Imagination boat, anyone give me some tips or advice if they have been with Carnival or on that boat also?!?

How much money do you think I will spend on a 5 day cruise also?

Get a sarong scarf or pareo that matches your bathing suit.

Take comfortable sneakers.  

The nights can be cool aboard ship, so take your favorite hoodie or light sweater.

Take work out wear if you plan to use the spa or gym.

Don't forget to bring extra camera batteries and sunscreen. Sundries are very expensive aboard ship.

Pack a light weight foldable beach or tote bag in your suitcase to use on your excursions and to bring home your purchases.

Bring small binoculars for better sight seeing.

Bring an insulated coffee mug so your can bring your coffee with you to watch the sunrise aboard the top deck.

Bring  a small address book with email addresses and home addresses of your family and friends that you may want to contact by email while at sea, and to send special postcards from Ochoa Rios or the Grand Caymans..

And, chances are great that you will meet and make friends on board that you will want to stay in touch with, so that little address book will come in handy.

With 12 cruises under my belt...

Buy a $25 pair of walki-talkies. You can stay in touch when you get seperated on the ship or on shore!
