What would be good to serve on a girls night out party!!?

I am turning 32 next month, so I want to throw a party for all just girlfriends. Classy, feminine, fun and glamorous thanks any tips. What is your experience if you had one.

I LOVE girls nights out! Karaoke sounds fun, and a goodie bag sounds like a sweet gesture. I'd start the night out with an upbeat playlist. For food, I'd serve all finger foods, having a sitting buffet of items that can sit out all night (like chips, crudites and dips, brushetta, mini tostaditos (single nacho chips topped with guac, salsa, cheese etc.), marinated olives, skewers w/ chicken or steak, served at room temp w/ dipping sauces...) and then I'd serve two or three 'mini-entrees' that are hot, as the 'main meal'. That way people can pick at the food, but you still have something filling. Try mini beef wellingtons or sliders, shrimp scampi skewers, and mini pizzas as mains. I'd go with a simple theme for decorating - I think hot pink and black are girly and fun. And for dessert, try chocolate fondue or a choc. fountain, with strawberries and cupcakes...

I'd start the karaoke after the mains have been eaten and dessert is out - most people need to be a bit drunk to be brave enough to try it (: I don't think you really need 'games' - just upbeat music to start the night, room to dance and chat, karaoke, and a chill soundtrack to wind down.

Then I'd serve some finger foods. Bruschetta; gazpacho in a shot glass; and/or tomato, basil, and mozzarella skewers.

For the drink of the night I'd do bellinis! They are my absolute favorite and very easy to make. Just add a half shot of peach schnapps to a glass of Prosecco or any sparkling wine or champagne if you're splurging. If you don't like schnapps you can add some apricot or guava fruit juice instead.

i think you should host a "little black dress party".all you girlfriends come in their favorite little black dress and have a fancy yet inexpensive dinner.for the dinner you could have boneless chicken brest and veggies with some simple dinner rolls.for desert to have some fun and bring out your inner teenager, break into your PJ's and have ice cream sundaes!  

karaoke machine is perfect!and if you have the money and time for goodie bags why not?put some candles and body wash and perfume in there!

Oh, surprisingly for me, my first thought was male undercarriage shaped jelly and balls of ice cream!.

But I read on and see that you are after then complete opposite!, how refreshing!.

How about hiring a hand masseuse or nail lady to treat you all?

A goody bag would a lovely gesture, here are some filler ideas, (mini sized) mints, hand cream, mascara, lip gloss, pen and pad, purfume , handwash - evap type, pretty tissues?

I love the little black dress idea! and every woman has one in her closet!

or you could do a s*x in the City theme where everyone dresses up- for that you could supply everyone with a martini glass as a party favor instead of the goodie bags- get glasses from the dollar store and pick up some paint pens at the craft store to decorate each glass, you can even put everyones names on them to personalize them and help everyone remembers whos drink is whos! then make a big batch of some type of martini to serve that night (along with other drinks if you'd like)

for foods how about-

veggie tray

bacon wrapped water chestnuts

shrimp cocktail

meatballs

breshetta

veggie pizza cut into bite sized pieces or maybe alfredo chicken pizza

stuffed cherry tomatoes

tortilla roll ups

the list is endless!

fun games to play-

karaoke would be fun later into the party after everyones had a few drinks!

I've heard of a game where you put everyones name into a hat and everyone picks a name and says something nice about that person- maybe something other people don't allready know about that person

I've played this game with my sisters where whenever we have a sisters weekend we have this huge p***s necklace- and anytime one of us talks about our significant other we have to wear the necklace until the next person gets caught! it is actually really funny, and our necklace is really heavy- but you could use a big funny hat or something.
