Awhile ago I asked a question about what would be a good hobby. But I realize I have plenty of hobbies. I want something more meaningful to do with my time. What would be a good place to volunteer?

  1. Ahh, how nice of you. Go to an old persons home, retirement home. they are always in need of young chipper faces!!!

  2. If you like animals theraputic riding centers are always looking for volunteers. They have training so you don't have to go to the barn with much knowledge and you will see miracles. It is amazing how children who have never spoken start to say words just so they can direct the horse they are on. Look up NARHA.org for one near you.

  3. A good place to volonteer would be at a resthome! As long as you are a teenager. Plenty of resthomes with elder people let young kids volunteer to do stuff with the elders. Such as read to them, paint the women's nails, and a bunch more! And your help can go on your college resime.                      Hope I helped!

  4. i think retirement homes or group home will be a good place. i also like firefighters too. eventhough lots of risk. also try vulenteer with working in the environment too. help save some trees or our environment.

  5. i need an answer to this as well, gd question lets see what people say

i think places like charity shops are always good or maybe nurseries??

    lol i dno

  6. WHAT ABOUT TUTORING AT A SCHOOL, VOLUNTEER AT A HOSPITAL, OR PICK UP SOME TRASH AROUND YOUR TOWN AND MAKE IT CLEANER.

i DID ALL OF THOSE AND THEY WEREN'T BORING AT ALL

  7. If you love animals (like I do). I would suggest working at an animal shelter, It is very rewarding. and you get to spend your day with animals

    good luck

  8. Start with one of two questions.

    1. What's the biggest problem I know?

    2. What do I like doing best?

From either one of those questions, you should be able to come up with volunteer options. Even couch potatoes can spend time with a disabled or injured person watching TV while the caregiver goes to the doctor, the store, a movie, etc.
