this is somehow a shocking question...but just carefully imagine, various brands and companies are manufacturing cell phones everyday which is similar with giving birth to new children...so what do you expect more would be - cell phones or population all over the world?

  1. Cell phones.

  2. I would say population. There are more people total then there are people with cell phones.

  3. Probably cell phones, since some ppl ownn more than one, and i guess this makes up for the third world countries that have none, and there are probably billions being made by the second.... Interesting question :)

  4. In certain countries - Italy, UK, Austria - there are more cell phones than people.  But I'd bet that the total population is greater worldwide - think of all the third world countries, developing countries without much technology.  Cell phone usage in those countries has quadrupled in the last few years, though.

The number of mobile subscribers worldwide is predicted to reach 3.96 billion by 2011 - while world population is about 6.6 billion right now.
