What would be more praticle, a mercury mountainer 2002 or a chevy blazer 2002?

I am buying this for a younger sibling and they just got there license? What i want to know is which is a better vehicle for a 16 year old?

They are both the same size so both are equally practical.

The Chevy Blazer is a cooler car.

The best one for a 16 year old would be the mercury mountainer they are a wider  wheel base and won't flip as quick and more stubility the blazer is less truck under you and will flip easeier and has a shorter wheel base my choose for you is they both get the same milage per gallon but for safty the mountainer 2002 is your better choice my father owns a car lot! hope this helped
