if its not a good school for business and management, then what school would be? i hope i can get into an ivy league school, but I'm still not sure if i can afford it. what classes should i take when I'm in high school if i want to go into that major? I'm planning to take french and mandarin and maybe Spanish when I'm in high school. what are some of the requirements that you would need for those top universities beside good gpa, extracurricular classes, and good test scores? oh and also i go to one of the less upper class high schools like local high schools. i go to la quinta in garden grove, california.

  1. Only two of the eight Ivy League schools offer business as an undergraduate major.  They are University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) and Cornell.  Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia and Yale have excellent business schools, but only take graduate students.  Neither Princeton nor Brown has a business school.  This is true of many of the universities with the best B-Schools.  Duke, Stanford, Chicago and Northwestern have top B-Schools but do not offer it to undergraduates.

The best undergraduate schools for Business are:

    1. Penn (Wharton)

    2. MIT (Sloan)

    3. UC-Berkeley (Haas)

    4. NYU (Stearn)

    5. Michigan (Ross)

    6. Virginia (McIntire)

    7. UNC (Kenan-Flagler)

Beyond those, there are several other good undergraduate B-Schools, including Boston College, Georgetown, Villanova, Notre Dame, Maryland, Texas, USC and any of the public universities in the Big Ten.

  2. look for AACSB Accreditation. It is very rigorous and a degree from them is best.

Some B-Schools are so entrenched in 'old ways'...... you need a school that is forward-thinking, and entrepreneurial
