What would be really romantic getaway in around Sacramento area (300 mile radius) for like a day.?

I am thinking, something like a short boat cruise with dinner, or like dinner outside on the beach etc, any cool ideas as such.

Go to yosemite national park or Lake Shasta

Lake Tahoe. There are a few boat tours, like the M.S. Dixie which have ~2 hour cruises. There are some decent restaurants in the hotels in South Lake Tahoe, or you could picnic on the beach. Check the weather though, it's colder there than you are used to.
