  1. sandwich or roll, drink of water, juice box, apple , bananna and a piece of slice

  2. A sandwich, a drink, and then maybe 1 or 2 snacks like chips or cookies.

Also, you should think about giving her another drink and another snack in case she gets hungry on the bus ride home or something.

  3. Chicken Salad Wraps makes 2

    INGREDIENTS

2/3 (10 ounce) can chunk chicken, drained and flaked

1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon chopped onion

1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon mayonnaise

1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon fresh salsa

    salt and pepper to taste

    2 (10 inch) flour tortillas

    4 lettuce leaves

In a small bowl combine the chicken, onion, mayonnaise, salsa, salt and pepper. Mix together.

Line each tortilla with two lettuce leaves, then divide chicken salad mixture evenly among each tortilla and roll up, or 'wrap'.

Fruit Cup with Citrus Sauce makes 3 cups

    INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons orange juice

2 tablespoons white wine or white grape juice

    1 tablespoon lemon juice

    1-1/2 teaspoons sugar

    3/4 cup cubed cantaloupe

    1/2 cup halved green grapes

    1/2 cup halved fresh strawberries

    fresh mint

In a small bowl, combine the orange juice, wine or grape juice, lemon juice and sugar; mix well. In a large bowl, combine the fruit; add juice mixture and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally. Garish with mint if desired.

    Lemonade to drink serves 9

    INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup and 2 teaspoons white sugar

    3-2/3 cups water

    2/3 cup lemon juice

    DIRECTIONS

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.

Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.

  4. Pack a sandwich, chips/veggies, a dessert, and a drink. Lunchables are always popular. =)

  5. Hmmm.... Pack something healthy like grapes, and then pack her favorite "treat", desert (pudding, candybar etc.) and then water or juice.

  6. My kids favorite lunch is a flour tortilla wrap (spread cream cheese, ham or turkey and fresh spinach leaves or sprouts, then roll it up and wrap it in plastic wrap.) It's tasty and very nutritious.  As for keeping it cold, freeze a juice box to go along in the lunch.  By lunchtime, the drink will be slushy enough to drink and the wrap will still be cold.  For extras, throw in an orange or some other fruit, and a healthy treat - like peanuts or a granola bar.  Have fun!!

  7. My daughter went to the zoo and I sent a lunchable (opened with capri sun taken out) and I sent her with a water bottle.  Your child will need water not sugar loaded punch.

If you don't want to buy a lunchable, string cheese, crackers, apple slices, sandwich in hard tupperware  (no one likes a squashed sandwich).  I had a backpack purse from when I was a teenager and used it to hold her lunch, water bottle, sunglasses and an couple extra granola bars in case she got hungry before lunch.
