What would be some good stuff to bring on a 12 hour plane ride?

I am bringing my ipod for sure and my nintendo ds.

What else do you think i should bring?

portable dvd player, laptop, and since you have a ds go to blockbuster and rent some games for it they cost $5 to rent

good head phones to block out noise(also for ds cuz people get mad) laptop (if they have wifi) a pillow snyc some movies to ipod so people dont get nosey!hope ur happy on trip!

buzz a striper ,psp ,ps3,x box 360, a bbq grill, a plasma tv, a sofa bed ,and a dog.

book, magazines, notebook [sounds lame but it would be cool to document your trip], stuff to draw with, dramamine [incase you're one to get sick... or you want to fall asleep], and your own airplane pillow. oh and hopefully your plane will have screens on the back of each seat so you can watch movies and tv shows. have fun!

You could bring a portable DVD player to watch movies if you have one.  A lot of planes have music on board and you can just plug in your headphones, but its not guaranteed--depends on the plane.  Same for movies.  Some planes have movies, but you usually have to pay unless its an international flight.  Best bet is to bring your own stuff and turn it on when they announce its OK to use it.  Every airline is different with their rules, but you should be able to use the ipod, nintendo and DVD player.  That should keep you OK for 12 hours.  You can also read or take a nap.  Happy travels.  Sometimes you can see things out the window if you're next to one....

If you get motion sickness, take some gravol...also, some books, or magazines, even ones about the place that you're going to.  Maybe a notebook and pen to write down stuff that you want to do or see when you're there.

Edit:  I brought my ipod on a 12 hour trip and the battery didn't last long...maybe a battery backup for your ipod...there are some available that plug in to the usb and runs off of AA or AAA batteries.
