What would be some nice things to add to a buddhist arm tattoo?

I am planning to get a tattoo for my mother who is buddhist on my harm from the top of my shoulder to about 2 inches above my elbow, i want siddhartha gautama's head and turned to the side somewhat, with a lotus flower underneath and i was thinking to fill in the rest to add sky and sun, with a waterfall and maybe some bamboo, and thoughts or suggestions comments on its authenticity and idea? thanks,

theres a beautiful quote i've once seen tattoo'd with a water fall which is buddihist-
