  1. you seem like a mom

    don't let them

what are they going to do at a club anyway

    even if there's no alcohol, it's a club---for teens---alone---without parents---

    not a very good idea

  2. speaking as a teenager just bc they dont serve alcohol doesnt mean there wont be any drinking. they dont check purses and many get some what drunk prior to going. but that doesnt mean you have to stop the teen from going..think abt it if they want to drink they are going to and this might be a chance on the other hand where they dont drink and realize how much fun they can have without drinking.

  3. Being a teen myself. Date rape drugs work in regular drinks too. and drugs can be passed around. and s*x can go on without anyone noticing. I would just be worried that my teen wouldn't be pushed into something they didn't want to do or worse they do want to and they are corrupted.

  4. Well if it's non-alcoholic, then there isn't much to worry about. Hypothetically, my biggest concern would be if other teens at the club harass or try to start a fight with my teen. Seeing as how I am a teen myself, that would be my biggest concern now.

  5. I would be concerned about older teens who are there specifically to pray on younger kids.

  6. i made that mistake and let my daughter go and she happen to come home totally drunk that night and her friend got pregnant from a teen club the whole "non-alcohol" its not true.

  7. you teen who still lives with you (under 18) shouldn't be going to a club period.  18 to 20 i would still worry about drugs.  i did it, so will they. do they know what those drugs do to thier bodies?  or what happens and such? how addicting it can be? that they can be taken advantage of?  it happens to more people then you think more often then you think?  1 in 3 women is sexually assulted.

  8. overall teen promiscuity, s**y/porvactive dancing. There is no such thing as the two step anymore (thanks Beyonce and Brittany). She/He will sneak and go for sure if they dont get your permission. How can you bargin this teen club or make it a major reward for "good behavior"?

  9. even though it's non-alcoholic doesn't mean they won't have other things. there could be, drugs s*x, and fighting?

  10. KIds bringing beer and having s*x

  11. I'm not a parent, but we do have a non-alcoholic teen club in my town. From what I've heard, people used to bring drugs,I don't know, but I'm sure they did.I never went there. They have switched locations,so maybe there won't be any more drugs there.Other than people would just go there to hang out,but it was like a 13-18 year old club,so you might worry about your teen meeting bad people.

  12. OK, I am a teen and I would have concerns about going. I would be afraid of people smuggling in booze, doing drugs and being raped.

  13. other teens bringing alcoholic drinks, drugs, s*x & peer pressure! but if its a concern for your parents just tell 'em you won't drink & do drugs & won't give in to peer pressure.

  14. Would just teens be there? I went to teen nights when I was younger when it was 16 and up, and skeezy old guys would try to hit on the young girls. I suppose you could worry about them doing drugs/drinking beforehand, but that can happen anywhere. Same with s*x.

  15. as r****d that thinks that its a non drinking club to think it means bring beer and weed

  16. I used to go to non-alcholic night clubs and they aren't exactly innocent. They searched purses and things but people somehow still snuck in drugs, I actually saw 2 people having s*x one time! There is drugs, s*x and provocative dancing. Now that I am a parent, those are my concerns.
