  1. 2-3 full months rent.

Depending on your credit and what the landlord requires... But typically, most common is 2 full months rent. (I'm in the US, sorry I'm not sure what our money equivalents are, lol)

But say the rent is $700 a month, you'll need first months rent, 700, plus security deposit, another 700, and sometimes last months rent is required.

So it could be either be $1400 or $2100.

My first apt (cause my credit was kinda "eh") required 3 full months, first, security and last... but as my credit got better and I got older, only 2 months were required in other places, first and security.

    good luck!

  2. I'd say the same as the first months rent, ie £675.  That tends to be the standard deposit rate in the UK
