  1. We all look out for one another here & tend to know not only our immediate neighbours but the whole community.

  2. You get a free balaclava.

  3. Northern Ireland?

It's got a fairly significant police presence, and not much gets past them.

Also, there's this unofficial neighbourhood watch kind of vibe in many places - the locals clock an unfamiliar face very quickly and you do feel watched ... but given their history, this is no surprise. Once they take to you and realise you're no danger you'll be made welcome. In that sense it is quite safe.

It's a nice part of the world, lovely countryside with good amenities and services. I think County Armagh is quite beautiful.

  4. More green spaces, slower pace of life, cost of housing is cheaper than some other places in the UK, less overcrowding than London area's, no problem there with illegal immigrants x*x

  5. Leaving people you don't like. haha That's how I would look at it, because I don't like most of the people I go to school with.

  6. The education for children is better over here, as reflected by the exam stats. The cost of living is cheaper, renting is soooooo much cheaper here then London for example a four\five bedroom house here would cost 400 to 500 a month. No water bills (well for the next year!!)

  7. crime levels are lower, people are friendlier, and it's more relaxed. Also can drive to Republic for cheaper petrol

  8. none whatsoever, the south is sooooooooooo much better

  9. The lovely people. The scenery. The quality of life. The beautiful beaches (and very cold sea). The golf courses. The pubs. The music. And the education system is second only to Scotland's in the UK.

PLUS you can visit the Republic and have all their wonders on your doorstep too.

BUT the cost of housing has risen dramatically - now an average price of £200,000 for a semi.

  10. -learning about a different culture

-maybe getting to learn the Celtic language

    -cool music

-the landscape ( outside the cities) is beautiful

-it would be easy to go to other places in Europe

  11. The terrorists would be Irish Catholics instead of Muslim middle easterners?

    Guiness would be cheaper?

You'd be more likely to catch a leprechan?

Those are the only advantages I can think of.
