What would be the best amp to power my Lanzar MAX15D 15 inch 1500(i think) Watt Dual Voice Coil subwoofer??

I was looking for a decent amp thats not going to cost a ton. I have one 15 to put in the single cab of a truck just for some decent listening.

Okay so the important specs are:

- RMS Power Range : 600 Watts

- Peak Power Handling: 1200 Watts

- Impedance: Dual 4 Ohm

I would suggest a strong mono amplifer with around 400-600w RMS x 1 channel.  Many people tell me that buying a matching amplifer (i.e. the same brand) for the sub is the most optimum, but others will disagree.  

Therefore I will give you 2 (of many) options:

- Lanzar OPTI1400D (500w RMS x 1)

- Alpine MRP-M1000 (600w RMS x 1).  

You could put less power into the sub but I wouldn't go for less than 400w RMS otherwise the sub wont be used at nearly its full potential.
