  1. Suggest you look into building a free professional website with Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://tinyurl.com/officelive . Currently, MS is offering a free domain name (i.e. yourparentsgroup.com) for the first year. It also has a free online web design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. It has 500mb of storage and no ads. It has a contact manager and ability to conduct email campaigns.

  2. I think that you should make a website. Nowadays is very easy to make a basic website with the numerous CMS (Content Management Systems) out there.

Here is a list of CMS

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_con...

Whichever you choose you will need a web server that meets the requiremetns of the CMS you like.

I suggest choosing a CMS written in PHP

  3. - Try creating a group list where they can actively participate in posting question and answer.

  4. Don't go with Godaddy.

Go with a host that has cpanel. Cpanel features a group of 1 click install scripts called fantastico. One of the 1 click installs is something called

Coppermine Photo Gallery - but there are many others

Web hosting Buzz is one of the cheapest that has it

Here is a list of hosts that feature fantastico:

    http://www.samwilson3d.com (right side menu)

    compare them.

Samwilson3d is also in inexpensive web design service, they designed 3 of my websites (look here at my latest : http://www.signaturecowboy.com )
