I want to know more about :

1. The better living cost (like can find a nice apt with an affordable rent/per month == $600-$800 for 1 or 2 bedroom with spacious space)

2. Easy to find jobs (I'm interested in IT field)

3. Near Sky train (I'm not planning to buy a car yet)

4. Good environment to raise a family and kids

5. Near Mall, groceries stores (more to asian stuffs)

Thank you in advanced!!

  1. try this

Surrey offers reasonable rents, decent connections to skytrain and many asian geared stores and restaurants (especially punjab, korean, filipino) .    There are two large malls in the area (Central City) which is a mall connected to SFU IT campus) http://www.centralcity.ca/main/

    and the Guildford Town centre.

If by asian you mean Chinese then Richmond might be worth a look as well.

  2. vancouver is very nice!

LISTEN TO ME!!! this will really HELP!!!

call afordable bc housing and they will find PERFECT places to live for u!!!

can u choose as best answer please!!!(blue button below)

  3. Well the truth is, if you want somewhere cheap and affordable, AND near a skytrain, it's *not* going to be good for raising kids.

But basically East Vancouver and Surrey sound like the best areas for you.  There's a skytrain at Joyce Station in East Vancouver.  You can rent a basement or apartment and walk to the skytrain.  Same with Surrey.  If you're near a skytrain, then you don't need to live near your work as you can take the Skytrain to downtown very easily, and to the malls (eg Metrotown) as well.
