  1. Karate - if you can master this you will be able to take on more than one person at once.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - a grappling martial art. if you can master this however big and stong your opponent is, you will be able to put him to sleep or break a limb without giving him a chance to hit back. this link will teach you about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

  2. If you learned your own art correctly, you would not need to combine it with other styles.

  3. ANY circumstance?

    Let's get real -

If that's the case, what you want to do is join the army and become a Navy seal, or something of that nature. I hear the French foreign legion has a pretty good training program.

Unarmed martial arts has its limits.

  4. San shou for its variety of strikes and throws from the middle and long ranges

southern mantis or wing chun for Close quarters

Combat Tai chi or Aikido to lern to redirect

    Bjj for groundfighting

kali or escrima for armed combat.

  5. If you are talking street fighting i still think you would find it difficult to beat a good boxer.  I am Dan grade Karate and Kickboxing so have experience. Also i am conditioned to take punches and it is not a shock to the system to receive one which it would be to many others.

The key is to stay on your feet.

  6. Better to know how to run than fight - any day.  Have a good 200m (50s)  followed by a fast 5k (15min) and you'll beat almost anyone.
