The Wii would be a much better investment in my opinion.

You can play Super Smash Bros Brawl.

The DS's screen stratchs VERY easily and then you can't see as well.

But the Wii is gettign more and more popular and the DS is fading from the popularity chart if it was ever even on it.

Trust me on this, I own both of them and I am ready to seel my DS to get more Wii games

I would say both cause the Wii has a special channel(a channel is a type of "program" containing the game disc info or the other programs built in like Mii Channel)called Nintendo Channel, which uses the internet AND can be downloaded FREE in the Wii shop channel, which also requires internet......if u have wireless, just go to settings internet and choose wireless type, if not buy a LAN adapter at gamestop to connect it to the back of ur cable modem or DSL cable into the LAN adapter..........the Nintendo channel has access to awesome new games coming or brand new both IN the shop channel and OUT.........PLUS it has video comercials for them, downloaded in just minutes, PLUS the DS feature, FREE DOWNLOADABLE GAMES USING THE DS DOWNLOAD FEATURE.

Nintendo DS!!!

Wii's have so many problems it's not even funny!

DS's are incredibly fun, and they have so many great games, Wii is going downhill fast.

a wii is nice if u like 2 play at home and a ds lite is portable and u can put it in your packet. a ds would be my first choiceso the ds lite

Two entirely different styles of gaming. I'd get both, but get the one you'll use most often first.

Bear in mind the DS has a larger games library, is cheaper, & is portable.

The Wii does take a bit of room and a decent TV to get the best out of it. It is a better multi-player console though, so if you always have a few friends round, it would be more fun than everyone playing DS's.

we have the wii you can buy those games and play them on there you can connect to the net with the wii lot more things to do with it
