  1. You could probably try to get a hybrid bike too. It makes more sense as you want it to commute. There are good and solid frames too. Considering your budget I would buy a second hand good make bike rather than a cheap new one. I've seen Specialized Rockhopper mtb for about that price in gumtree and ebay. Ridgeback is my recommendation for a hybrid.

  2. Rally Badd Max £70

    Cfsa S-Type £32

    Apollo 2.20 £60

    'Lightnin' £1116 still beasty

  3. was going to say ,,,the best you can afford,,,,, go to a dealer who will let you try a few out on the car park, after all you would't buy a car wthout testing it out first, right?

I went to hafords and thats what happened to me so went round corner to little self run shop and the guy fell over himself, up and down the service road for ten mins answered all questions, got delivery, better saddle and £30 knocked off, So get out and check em out and have a little ride out b4 u buy,,, ok,, good luck.

  4. You are not going to get much of a bike for £120 unless you buy a used one. I would ask at your local bike shop, avoid Halfords or super stores as the staff are not usually that knowledgeable in my experience.

Hope you find the right bike.
