What would be the best route to maximize being 'green' & minimize car wear-and-tear?

So on Google maps I can see there are three manageable routes for my round-trip between work and home:

1. Mostly highway: 65mi on hw + 6mi on local roads. 71mi round-trip. 1hr 30mins total commute time. (**this is what I do currently)

2. No highway: 46mi round-trip. 1hr 50mins total commute time.

3. Mixed: 34.8mi hw + 20mi local. 1hr 40mins total commute time.

So again, does anyone have an educated opinion on which would be the most 'green', as well as cause the least wear-and-tear on my car?

P.S. The car is a 99 Camry, 4cyl.

Don't know where your talking about but open highway is the best on any car. (less stops approx 35 mph or higher)
