What would be the best scooter for me to buy?

I'm 6'3" and 230 lbs so I need something that is going to reliably carry me at a decent clip with some groceries, laptop etc. Is Vespa my best deal?

look at the suzuki bergman. it is capable of highway travel too, so it more useful than a city only model. thay come in 450cc and 650cc models and are a good buy for the money.

Kymco Xciting 500.  Nice bike.  Plenty of room for stuff.  Good acceleration.  Good milleage.  Good warranty.  Easily 3 grand less than a comparable Vespa, or the big cheese Burger.

The Kymco is a better deal than a burgman and for what your wanting I do not think a Vespa will do it for  you. I use a B+W Kymco 250 while my car was in the shop and my son and I rode it to the store got our stuff and brought it home, he and I  together went over 250. Never any problem. Plenty of storage room for  packages. Also  people trade in burgmans for a Kymco xcititing 500's.
