  1. Play Dumb!

  2. If nothing can be done, try and make the best of the situation.

    Either that  or you can hitchhike your way back to where you started from.

    You weren't dropped off on the wrong island were you?

  3. Blame it on someone else.........

  4. The best person, or the situation, to remedy any mistake is where the mistake has been understood better, where instead of finding excuses in some people to level the blame and therefore throw away the charge of the responsibility. I is common in human nature to distance itself from the heart of trouble, to ignore, to deny, to go numb, to forget and to avoid seeking solutions for one problem as that might mean an encounter with further problems, normally people like to cut themselves free from problematic situations and run away as far as possible. I think avoidance makes things only worse, and once avoided and left unresolved, the problematic situations might reappear later in their new forms.

    I think it would be important, first of all, to understand as what has happened. I think once we are able to determine the true nature of a mistake we are better able to ascertain the damage caused, and the damage that would be caused in the immediate or a distant future. Most mistakes engender further, and even graver, mistakes and disruptions. It is therefore important to determine their nature right from the outset; in the nature of every mistake are the clues about remedial processes that one might like to begin all too eagerly and quickly, but it is important to see as what has been affected and what can still be saved.

    Then there is the all-important aspect of every mistake, i.e. the culprit, the perpetrator, or the one to take the blame. Sometimes, it is important to understand the agent behind a mistake in order to understand a mistake, but sometimes mistakes are a matter of shared responsibility. This is simple to put in words but of course not as simple in actual situations of life, but believe this is right thing to do. I believe even when there is easy for us to see as who has done something wrong it is important to see objective and decide as what has happened, or been done, for each individual is but a part of a collective greater than himself.

  5. repair the damage and admit your wrong!!

  6. Accept responsibility by making sure the right people know so that they can do whatever they can to mitigate any damage you may have done, if any.

    Most people realize that no one is perfect, and appreciate honesty and integrity as strong assets.

    The last thing you want is or your mistake to be discovered later on without your coming clean, and then suddenly people are questioning your honesty, integrity, and competence.

  7. apologise and try to fix it

  8. Get a divorce !

  9. To fix it as soon as possible.

  10. Not to repeat it again.

  11. 1)  admit to the mistakes you had made;

    2)  if possible, try to rectify it;

    3)  learn from mistakes, and try not to repeat them;

  12. Admit that you have made a mistake and apologise.

  13. just learn from it, try to never repeat it, and if your mistake affected anybody else, apologize. that´s the only thing we can do.

  14. when someone realises a mistake has been made the most important thing is to not repeat it in the future or anything similair.

  15. The first thing to do is to admit the error to myself, for that is the hardest.  I may very well admit it to others, but that may only be because I want to regain my lost esteem by being thought of now as humble and sincere for having done so. That done, I will be sincere with myself in admitting it to others.  The best, then, is the two in sequence.

  16. learn from it and try to not make that mistake again

  17. Write it down. File the paper in your "mistakes made" folder. Periodically pull out the file to give yourself a quick reminder of the mistakes you've made so that you won't repeat them.

  18. Own up to it and learn from it.  You're only as good as your word and if you start lying, you'll always be a liar and no one will trust you.  Integrity makes for a soft pillow.  It means doing the right thing even when nobody else is looking.

  19. Admit it to yourself and others involved, say sorry. Learn from it so as not to repeat it.
