What would be the best time fore me to eat after working out?

Title pretty much explains it, i work out 4-5 times a week, with moderate to heavy exercise.

  1. I suggest at least an hour. That way your body has time to recover, but you aren't depriving yourself with food after a workout.  


  2. You should eat protein shortly after working out....within an hour is best.  Or you can have a protein shake, whey protein or whatever at this time.

    Other type foods it doesn't matter as much.

    Right after your workout is when your muscles are recovering and need the protein the most.

  3. Wait 45 minutes to an hour.  Sit down and relax a little bit and then think about eating.  It would probably be better to eat a light meal after that.
