What would be the best way to get from North Terrace, Adelaide to Wayville Showgrounds on Anzac Highway?

Does anyone have any ideas on what bus/train i could use and where to get on and off? Any info. would be really great, thanxs : )

  1. Get a taxi save rooting around with busses and trains and stupid trams


  2. A bus to Goodwood Road from the city or a train. It may have changed over years but I always remember that the Showgrounds had it's own railway stop platform specifically for the venue.

    It isn't vey far outside the city centre so you could quite easily take a taxi for less than $20. Also I would expect airport buses go nearby cos Anzac Hwy is en route to the airport.

    p.s. oh. I forgot about adelaide's ONE tram route.

The best way to get from North Terrace to the Wayville Showgrounds is to take the Glenelg tram from Adelaide railway station and get off at stop 3 Goodwood Road. http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/routes/t...  The train station at the Wayville showgrounds only operates in September when the Royal Adelaide show is on. And the buses that go to the airport don't go anywhere near the Wayville Showgrounds.
