  1. Use lots of metal L brackets.

  2. a tank that size will need to sit ON something. If you live somewhere where you can tear apart walls and stuff, I've seen some people tear apart a wall in a closet, stick the tank through there on a fortified tank stand, and go from there. But that's building the tank INTO the wall - and since you wanted to know how to mount a tank ONTO a wall...  well, I'll just have to say Don't Do It.

You'll end up with broken glass and 100 gallons of water flooding your house.

  3. First mount the 6 foot fish, then build the tank around it.

Seriously, the best way is to cut a hole in the wall, build a strong structure like a counter top, and install tank.  Frame the edges of the wall.  Fish can be viewed from either side.

  4. fortify it with a metal stand under it.  then you cover it with walling.
