  1. What on Earth are we thinking here?

If you're looking to get more bass out of your system, adding a Punch P1 is not the answer.

Sure, Rockford Fosgate makes good subs, but in no way is adding an entry level P1 sub going to make much of a difference when you're using a Kicker L7.

Sell the P1, purchase a second L7 and create an enclosure the optimizes the pair properly.  Then, be sure to get an amp that will power the pair of L7's adequately.  This is the ideal way to increase the SPL level of your system.  Don't try to Mickey Mouse your way by taking shortcuts.  It never works in the end.

  2. umm. dont?

    terrible idea

u never run two different subs. different ohm laods power handling name brand cone size and even wire guage s***w everything up and make sutff sound like c**p.

just use the L7 and sell the P1, or the other way around. then get another L7 of same type, or another P1

  3. the best way for you to do this would be:

step 1.) shoot yourself for thinking about wiring two different subs together. HORRIBLE IDEA!!! (running two different ohm loads to your amp is not good)

just get rid of one of the subs (probably the p1, but it's your preference). then just get a second L7. that would be your safest bet.

or you could just run the one sub and bridge your amp. but you do what you want.
