What would be the cheapest way of moving furniture etc from Uk to Australia?

I was thinking a container ship?

Has anyone had any experience moving overseas?

Id love to know prices on containers and other ways of moving all my stuff overseas.

You would need to rent a Shipping container. Air travel would be too expensive and driving it would be impractical.

I recall from past experience with a friend that you can contact freight companies like P&O or CT Freight and they can arrange it from there. If you dont need a whole container, i think you can share cargo space with other users.

sell it all and buy new there youll find moving to a new country youll want to fit in with the styles and sizes that fit the space unless your talking super expensive antiques that are irreplaceable or super modern

or in this case shipping regular every day living room furniture doesnt

make money sense. Or in your case pound wise. Sell all of it and bank it until your ove is done then buy new furniture to fit your new digs.Good day mate.
