  1. It'll probably be more than 30 - the cage itself might be more than 30, actually.

You'll probably want to budget about 100 dollars for "start up costs" - including the hamster, the cage, a good supply of bedding, and some food. Buy the largest bag of bedding, since it'll save you money in the long run. Some cages come with water bottles, wheels, and food bowls, but others don't.

    Hamster - $20

Cage (including some supplies) or cage + water bottle, bowl, wheel - $40+

    Carefresh bedding - $20

    Food - $10

"House" or hiding place - $5

So it could be pretty expensive in the beginning...and remember that you'll need to keep buying more food and bedding as time goes by!

  2. What CURRENCY?

Yahoo Answers is an international site. Is it dollars, pounds, yen, rand?

But in UK pounds, it's roughly £30-40 to get a hamster (£6 for a Syrian, £6.50 for dwarfs), cage- all cages have plastic food bowl, wheel, platform, house, and bottle- (cheapest for Syrian is £29.99) and free starter kit* from Pets At Home. And you should buy gnaw sticks/exercise ball during this first purchase, too.

*Free Starter Kit from PAH comes free with any cage over £24 (all of them are now a days, due to inflation) and has small sawdust, small safe bedding, small sample of food, vitimins, treats, and a book. The bedding, food and vitmins are enough to last you a week, so you may need to pick up more food and probotic whilst shopping.

  3. 5 $

in the uk dude 50 quid nooo waayyyy

    mann

god at the most 15 $

    xxxx

  4. well in america, it is probably around 20-25 dollars for the hampster, about 15-20 dollars for the cage and maybe 5-7 dollars for bedding, probably the same for bedding as food. owning any pet can be a bit pricy. but it also depends where your getting it from.

    hope this helps ♥

  5. It all depends on what luxury you want your hamster to have...

There is the cage you can get a plastic or a wire one

There is food, food dish, water bottle, bedding (you can buy it or use shredded news paper), treats/toys, and then the hamster itself. So I am guessing between 40-50 dollars.
