I say no earlier than 8 am their time and absolutely no later than 8 pm their time, with 6 being an appropriate cut-off. My roommate disagrees. Your thoughts?

  1. I'd say between 9 to 5.  Business calls during business hours.

  2. 9-5 their time zone.

  3. I'd say only call on their business hours, regardless if it was calling the company or an employee. If it was really important, call 15 minutes or so after they open, to give everyone time to get in the building and get settled.

  4. I think that unless the caller says it's an emergency, you should return the call during his usual business hours (which may or may not be the same as everyone else's).  I myself would expect work-related calls to my home to be few and far between.

  5. First you have to know what time the place is open, then call within 15 minutes of opening if it is important, or within a few hours of opening if  its not.

  6. It's best to return business calls during business hours only

  7. I go right along with you on this one ! If their business hours are 8 AM to 8 PM. But if they are 9 AM to 5 PM no one may be there to take the call.
