Actually contrary to the first answer.  The speed of sound would decrease in a warmer environment.  The less dense the medium is the slower the propagation of sound.  For example The speed of sound in air is about 340m/s where the speed of sound in water is about 1500m/s.  The greater the density the faster sound will travel.
