  1. borrow the cable from someone who has a similar camera and download the driver from the camera producers website.

  2. Go to :

    video-help.blogspot.com

  3. A Simple USB cord, not sure how much it costs but almost every electrical appliance is USB compatible.

  4. USB or firewrite to connect to a mac and just use iMovie for editing.

  5. It depends on what interfaces your camera supports. The two most common options are USB and Firewire. Figure out which one your camera supports, and you'll have your answer. Both PCs and Macs support Firewire (you might have to add a card for this) and USB (nearly every computer sold after 2001 has USB).

  6. you need a Analog video capture device either internal or external external sounds better for you as you want to use a Mac as well, trying to think of the name Pinnacle do one check out the link

I assume its Hi8, 8 or can remember the other just a small VHS tape and you put it into a cartridge to play it something like VHSC?

    Hope it helps

  7. well, i dont know much about macs but if you have vista you can use a program called roxio home creator to rip your footage and i would recomend windows movie maker to edit it....both come as standerd with vista...

and you can use a usb wire to connect...all cameras use some sort of usb cable...
