please be specific, list facts and details. And don't worry, you are not doing my homework for me. This is a big project and I will research it myself; just looking for a direction to go in. Your time is much appreciated.

  1. Permaculture design is a good place to find tools to start any comparison of efficiencies. there will be a group near you, and plenty of resources online

the most efficient is what nature does for free, like earthworms tilling the soil http://www.darwin-literature.com/The_For...

    or gravity to move things...

the most efficient energy is the one not used, ie turning off excess lights is much more efficient than building any sort of new power station

  2. You need to specify a lot of things: what kind of resource? ratios of what? I will assume you are talking about energy and the energy to cost ratio or the energy to environmental harm ratio.

for money, nuclear power is the worst, and coal power is the best for the most part. solar, wind, and hydro power are all inbetween.

in terms of environmental impact: coal power is the worst, hydro power comes second if the d**n is a large scale d**n, solar is slightly detrimental for taking up arable land, and wind power has a very small impact. Nuclear power is controversial, but only releases thermal heat on a day to day basis... but disasters can cause lots of radiative damage.
