What would be the postage price for a small package in Aus?

I need to send a pair on jeans via a small parcel in Australia but I'm not sure how much it would cost. If you buy those tough bags at Australia post does the price of posting it depend on where it is going? Or is it universal? I'm asking because I need to know for ebay, should the cost vary depending on where people live?

The main factor is the weight of the item, Jeans arent exaclty light weight. Then it depends on where in the world it is going, there are different rates for different zones, ie. US vs UK.

You also need to factor in the cost of the bag, registered post vs regular post vs insurance.

You're probably best to go to the post office and find out. On eBay people generally round up the price, other charge the exact postage. $20 should cover it but you don't want to get stuck short.

The further away the more costly and it goes on weight and don't forget you need to add postage and handling look at other items on ebay to get a better idea.

You should really ask the post office, otherwise the info could be wrong and you don't want to overcharge someone.

Put into search australia post calculator and it will give you the postage to whereever you need to send the item going by the weight of the item.  With ebay you are better off adding postage after the sale and getting the person to either contact you about cost of postage with their postcode or them just accepting what the actual postage cost is.  I have been caught a couple of times with having to post to Western Australia from Victoria and that tends to cost more than posting to a closer state.
