Anything ranging from $2000 to $15000

Depends on whether it is grass, asphalt or clay. Whether you will have fencing around the court, whether it will have flood lights, lines, ect.

You can get a decent tennis court for $3000 (hard court).

Clay or Asphalt will be the price factor as asphalt will be the cheaper of the hard surface.

MUCH of it you can do yourself, up to the hot asphalt.  Don't use cold pack as it will not last as long.

Pricing can be hard to pinpoint because it depends on how much excavation you need.

Call around for pricing and don't necessarily go for the lowest, but for the best level of service.
