What would be the proper law enforcement procedure be (caution extremely Gruesome)

OK say you had this sick demented person on a bus that started attacking the person sitting next to him with a knife eventually decapitating the person all the people got safely off the bus and they locked him inside the bus with the dead man

I would storm the bus and neutralize him if he refused to surrender. Of course any option you deploy will be based on a split second decision that will be analyzed and questioned by arm-chair quarterbacks....like the people on this site. So let me ask you this..What would you do?

At this point, unfortunately, there is no imminent threat.  A taser would be the most likely tool used at this point.

He is contained, no longer a threat (eating a dead guy is not justification for use of force).  So the next thing would be to verbally order the guy to surrender and try to talk him out..

Subdue the individual with the knife.  Cuff him and call for some medical attention.

Shoot him...dead.  Then you would be able to get him off the bus in a very calm and orderly fashion.

I would say just leave him alone til he gets full.If that isn't an option you should just go in and shoot the dude.

He is no longer an immediate threat.  He used a knife, so he can't shoot out the bus.  The proper procedure would be to secure the bus, including flattening the tires so that he could not drive away.  Now with him contained, set up communications and try to talk him out peacefully.  If communications break down, tear gas him out.  Taser him as he leaves the bus, and handcuff him immediately.  Get him to a psych ward fast.
